Invisible braces , as the name suggests are braces that are less visible or totally not visible from outside. At crowns & roots we offer 3 types of Invisible braces:
Ceramic braces are metal braces placed on the inner surfaces of your teeth, so are not visible from outside. The downside is that they are extremely technique sensitive and not all Orthodontists have the skills to offer them! But our Orthodontists is a Lingual Orthodontics specialist! These are a great option for older patients who are conscious of metal or even ceramic bracket display because they are totally discreet and easier to maintain!
Invisalign This is a patented technology of Clear plastic aligners that you can wear and remove at your convenience. These come in sets (upper and lower) and an average treatment takes 25-35 sets. Invisalign is extremely comfortable to wear, totally invisible to the average eye. No more hassle with brackets and wires for you dear patient! You can remove it while eating and on important social occasions and can conveniently wear it through the night. The only downside is the cost- they are the most expensive option. But because they are the best and most convenient, many patients are opting for them!
